“For our 21st release we have finally embraced the analog into our post-electronic digital habits. Not in the form of fancy vintage synths but back to the good old guitar and pedal love.

When Hans ‘Next Commuter’ Thomas sent us his 8 track demo we were immediatly excited to release his post-psy-rock’ish ambient interpretation of our ‘Dream’ framework. With his previous release here on Xtraplex ‘[xpl013] – Katharsis’ Hans proved himself master of landscapes and harmonic wanderings and this release is no exception. As the title suggests we are introduced in a vacuum-like wormhole, a non-dimension, where no movement or growth is possible and yet it feels strangely satisfying and peaceful.

We can imagine this being played 100 years from now, where hippies are ancient ancestors, somewhere on a meteorite mining station in deep space. Bridging consciousness and matter.

Not only does it add up to our spectrum it enhances and inspires by its contrasting nature without loosing touch with the abstract Xtraplex feeling.

We do hope you enjoy!" (xtraplexrecords.com)
