'Shouts from the open window' might deliver a feeling of frustration, chaotic order, distress and relief, warmth and cold, sadness yet hope. Thus it tries to combine opposites in one composition. Like in most of my works, I do this by combining harmonics with disharmonics and noise, but in a way that doesn't become too disturbing - after all it's meant to be closely listened to. This is one of my more noise-like tracks, but at the same time it's more 'musical' than the others, thanks to the tense bassline, which gives it structure and direction.
